St Michael's marks 575 years

St Michael's celebrates its 575th anniversary over the weekend of 26 and 27 September, marking the building of the church all those centuries ago.

Saturday brings cream teas and medieval sword displays, with displays of the church's history and a quiz. On Sunday there is a service of Songs of Praise led by the Rt Revd Bishop Nick McKinnel, followed by a bring and share lunch. On both days the church is open with displays of its history.

Look out for posters around the village nearer the time.
