St Michael's Church

St Michael's has stood over Spreyton for centuries - the inscription on the chancel roof is dated 1451. It's a granite church with medieval wagon roofs in the nave, aisle and chancel, an octagonal Norman font, and a medieval ceiling boss showing three hares with shared ears.

Uncle Tom Cobley is believed to be buried in the churchyard.
